![]() It is full of mystery, epic action scenes, and fun relationships. The plot is great and engaging the whole time. My only criticism of their writing style is how they kept taking lowbrow shots at Mormons/LDS my religion. Corey(Daniel Abraham/Ty Franck) are a great duo. They bring out the good in each other whenever they talk and plan or act together. They both contrast each other sharply in their personality and their views of the world. Holden & Miller have an absolutely superb written relationship. Miller is a pessimist who basically thinks the world's gone to heck always. Naomi is probably one of the smartest, most individual women I have read in SFF. Holden is an optimist who always finds the good in things. It's not just him Holden, Naomi, and Miller, all these characters are supremely well developed. Amos is possibly one of the most funny characters I have read so far. All the characters were great I thought especially Amos. First off we'll start with the characters. Both of their missions connect down in a way that they didn't think possible and they need to figure out what is going on in the solar system. ![]() Jim Holden finds a big secret with his crew when he is running errands for the Canterbury ice hauler on the rings of Saturn. It follows Jim Holden and his crew of the Rocinante. ![]() ![]() This is the first in a famous space opera series called The Expanse. There is only one teeny tiny little bitty so small issue that I had with this awesome book that I'll talk about later. ![]()
